SERVICE

Our regular gatherings are diverse in themes, opinions, and expression. We come together for the sharing of praise, lament, discussion, song, dance, crafts, and wasting time with God on Sabbath. We are a cross-generational and LGBTQ-friendly community, and ask people to adjust to the needs of others. Our guest teachers, preachers, philosophers, scientists, performers, and facilitators are a diverse and profound individuals that make New York city so special.

We strive to lavishly spend time with God, the city, nature, and each other on Sabbath.

LOCATION

15 RUTHERFORD PLACE,
NEW YORK, NY 10003

Near Union Square, we gather at the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) building, a part of the Quaker’s complex at 15 Rutherford Place. The entrance is in between 15th and 16th street . Rutherford runs parallel to and in between 2nd and 3rd avenues.

How to find us: on’t be intimidated by this explanation, it is more complicated to explain than to find us. Just hop on to any train that goes to Union Square and start going east on 15th street, then take a left on Rutherford Place. We are on the left side. The L train has a stop on 14th street and 3rd Ave. which is the closest to AFSC.
